Wishing You a Happy Thanksgiving from the Couso Family and SusanvilleStuff

And suddenly the holiday season is upon us!

Thanksgiving, perhaps more than any other day that we celebrate, is a holiday of home. A simple day without tinsel or fireworks, recalling the little things, long-remembered, that we are thankful for.

To our family and friends, both far and near, we thank all of you for being a part of our lives and wish you the best of holiday seasons!

Happy Thanksgiving everybody! From Marshel, Jeremy, Ray, Susan, Terra and Shelley!

“It’s really a wonderful way to start the day, as you are invigorated prior to the day’s activities,” says LSS Executive Director Penny Artz. “Non-perishable, and non-expired food and funds donations help Lassen Senior Services continue our remarkable program.”

Participants will be starting at the Senior Center, running over to Limoniera, taking Limoniera to Riverside, Riverside to Alexander and down to the bike path and back.

There will be prizes for best costume and largest family group.

Susanville Prepares for Yule Seal Sale

November 24, 1934

Plans have been formulated for the annual sale of Christmas seals in this district. The various Parent-Teacher association will have charge of the sale in their particular sections, according to announcements made by officials.

Officers named for the campaign include Dr. C. I. Burnett, president; Mrs. Robert Winchester, secretary; and C. H. Bridges, treasurer.

Plans this year are different than those of other years, when the United PTA had charge of the entire sale. Stamps will be mailed to each home this year, the committee announced, rather than have members of the association make a personal call as in former years.
