Welcome our newest team member to the Chamber Staff, Deborah Swan |
I have lived in Indian River County over 40 years… alumnus of VBHS, Tampa Tech for Architectural drafting, former business owner and community volunteer. I have held many roles over the years with experience in creative marketing, planning, problem solving, communication, and teams.
Yes! I am the new membership director here at SRACC and I can’t be more excited and humbled to serve this community and all the business members and members yet to come. Looking forward to continuing the legacy of the Chamber of Commerce, building our relationships, and working with the fantastic team at the Pelican Porch Visitor Center.
Personally speaking, my favorite time of day is mid-morning, breathing in a moment of sunshine. I love reading, long drives to scenic places with lots of detours, and socializing in person (lol), still most of my free time is working on DIY projects around home with my dog Buddy! I know that this area where we all live and thrive is paradise, it is my pleasure to be a part of what makes this place so great!

My name is Hannah Wintermyer. I'm originally from South Florida and moved to Vero Beach when I was 11 years old. I graduated from Vero Beach High School in 2016, go Indians! I then went back to my roots and got a degree from FAU. After graduating, I worked as a Behavioral Therapist in the Austin, Texas area. After a few years and Covid, I decided I missed Florida and realized being a therapist was NOT for me! I started at Capt. Hiram's this past May as their Marketing Coordinator. I do a lot of the social media for Hiram's, (check out our Facebook and Instagram pages!) as well as help out with multiple events with advertising and marketing. I love making sure our locals and out-of-town guests are happy! I was also the Race Director for this year's past Triathlon, where a portion of our proceeds go to organizations that help save our river! Hiram's has taught me so much in the early part of my career, it's the best decision I've ever made, makes me excited to see what's in store for the future!
