DECEMBER 2022

Thank you so much for reading my newsletter. I wish you much peace and joy this Christmas season and in 2023. I managed to get my tree up yesterday, but still don't have all the ornaments up. Maybe I will by Christmas! As I get older, I realize the trimmings don't matter so much. Peace and joy to those who celebrate Hanukkah as well.

I am praying for Russia to stop bombing the Ukrainian people. What better time than now to show compassion to the people around us.

Mermaid Tales goes mini!

So many little girls and some boys really wanted a Mermaid Tale book that was too difficult for them when I as doing live signings, that I thought it would be great to have an easier version. And here it is!

The Friendship Wish is the first book in the new Mini Mermaid Tales series from Aladdin/Quiz, a division of Simon and Schuster.

In the story, Rosie wants to play school. But more than anything she wants a friend. Her search causes more than one calamity and involves no small amount of bubbles! It's available now for pre-order.

School Visits Once Again

Are you looking for an author to visit your school? I've started booking school visits and conferences for 2023 and hope I can visit your school or event. This year, I'll also have a STEM component to go along with my upcoming book about a scientist who would not give up on an idea that her peers rejected as impossible. It was not impossible for her!
