There are many family names in Annapolis that carry on the work of the brave individuals who took risks to improve opportunities for all.

The National Prevention Science Coalition to Improve Lives (NPSC) is spearheading this initiative to place children at the forefront of national policymakers’ agendas and the public’s hearts and minds to compel action. This will be an opportunity to unite people, organizations, and agencies dedicated to improving conditions in which children and youth are born, live, play and learn. "We need a paradigm shift that ends the deficiencies and disparities in child health and wellbeing at the national level, leading to future generations of happy, healthy, and productive children and adults."
CCM heartily endorses this effort. Click here and YOU CAN, TOO!

CCM is part of a two-year project through the Association of Children's Museums to explore early math learning.
"By starting early, making math fun, and including parents/caregivers—all areas in which children’s museums excel—we can create a world where everyone feels confidence in their abilities to do math."
