Do you love your current car? Refinance your vehicle from another lender while earning $200 cash back. Refinancing could also lower your interest rate, decrease your monthly payment or both.

Fraudsters are smarter than ever, and they have a new way to try and steal your money. Using a trick called “spoofing,” criminals are copying AlliedFCU’s number to call members. That means you’ll see AlliedFCU’s number on your caller ID when the scammer contacts you by phone.

The person on the other end of the phone may say your account has problems or they need some personal information. How do you fight against this nasty tactic?

• Never give out personal information or passcodes. AlliedFCU already has your information and will never call about a one-time passcode.
• Don’t answer the phone. Directly call AlliedFCU to see if your account has issues.
• Check your mobile app. It will show you if there are unauthorized transactions or not.

Avoid annoying card readers that reject your swipes or inserts with tap-to-pay. Tap-to-pay makes purchases less frustrating. Simply hold your card to the reader, pay and leave the store.

The yearly Back-to-School Supply Drive was a big success thanks to AlliedFCU employees and members. With your help, we were able to donate school supplies to four schools in the Arlington and Mansfield communities: Speer Elementary, Erma Nash Elementary, Williams Elementary and Ousley Junior High. AlliedFCU staff delivered the supplies the first week of school, along with a $350 check to each campus.
