Creekside Fridays are Here!

We are getting ready for the big day! And of course the fog is rolling in. But we're still gonna have fun! Come on down this evening from 5:30 to 8pm and hear Pacific Standard play some tunes, grab dinner and see your friends and neighbors. We have some fun new things to share with you so come on down and see how Creekside is evolving this year!

A huge thank you for all who came out to the first in our Tam Valley Speaker Series on Sunday. We had a great showing and John Byrne Barry's book presentation was a great! We look forward to more great talks in the coming months. This Saturday, join us for the second Garden Talk with our PARC commissioner, Michael Bogart. See below for more info.

Congratulations to all the graduates this week! School is out and it's time for some summer fun!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Southern Marin Fire Update

With the recent Corral Fire southwest of Tracy in San Joaquin County that as of June 6th is 100% contained and burned more than 14,000 acres, residents should be reminded of what to do in case of emergency evacuation. All month long Southern Marin Fire District will be sharing videos educating residents on steps to prepare, in advance, for evacuation from wildfires and other disasters. Learn More.

FireSafe Marin Update

What will you do if your home insurance gets canceled or is not renewed? This is a worry that looms over too many of us in Marin. It’s a real problem that has drawn attention in the media, bringing into focus the increased vulnerabilities of California homes to wildfires, floods and other climate-driven disasters.

Join us on June 17 at 6 pm for a Special Edition of Wildfire Watch TV. Learn what options are available to you if you lose your insurance and what you can do to protect your home’s vulnerability – both to insurance loss and wildfire.
