SCRA’s Tax Credit Program Featured on NPR

Andy Olsen, SCRA Business Development Manager, was recently featured on NPR's South Carolina Business Review. Listen as host Mike Switzer and Andy discuss SCRA's Industry Partnership Fund.

The IPF was established to enable SCRA and its investment affiliate SC Launch Inc., to provide coaching, grants, investments, and other types of support for technology startups and for academic research and development.

Contributions made by individuals and organizations provide a dollar-for-dollar tax credit. In addition, depending on an organizations tax status, an IPF contribution may be deductible as an ordinary business expense. Listen to the episode.

SCRA Member Company Subsidiary Named DOE SBIR/STTR Small Business of the Year

Tetramer announced that it was honored as the FY2023 SBIR/STTR Small Business of the Year Award by the U.S. Department of Energy at a ceremony in June for its work in the development and commercialization of VBASE base oils and lubricants. VBASE® Oil Company, an SCRA Member Company, is a subsidiary that is bringing the technology to market.
