Important Note on Chamber Communications

Chamber members,

We’ve heard your feedback that many of you want to hear timely news through messaging and not just email. We’re enhancing our communications with you by introducing Slack, a cloud-based messaging app. We will continue to publish our weekly e-newsletter on Thursday but will also be sending timely messages about events, meetings, and resources using Slack.

Please download Slack and follow the instructions in a forthcoming email to join the Chamber’s workspace. In Slack, members will also be able to opt into various interest-based channels (e.g. Downtown merchants; Food & Wine; Women’s Networking Group, etc.) and communicate with one another.

Town: Los Gatos Considers Street Closures to Curb Beach Traffic

The Town of Los Gatos is considering implementing street closures to mitigate the impact of beach-bound traffic cutting through residential areas. The proposal includes funding a traffic simulation study to assess the potential effects of such closures. Community members are encouraged to share their input by emailing beachtraffic@losgatosca.gov or calling 408-354-6810.

Federal: Businesses Must File Beneficial Ownership Reports by March 21, 2025

Following last week’s federal court action lifting an injunction on the Department of the Treasury, small businesses are now required to file beneficial ownership information reports under the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) . The filing deadline is March 21, 2025. Failure to comply puts small business owners at risk for criminal penalties, imprisonment, and fines up to $10,000. The Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce invites you to its exclusive Member Social at Nestldown, a breathtaking 36-acre privately owned estate renowned for its gardens, towering redwoods, and enchanting spaces. This special gathering offers you a rare chance to experience one of the most storied venues in our region while mingling with fellow Chamber members, staff, and our Board Members.

An Afternoon of Connection & Community

Attendees will enjoy a catered lunch buffet with beverages in the stunning fir barn that features floor to ceiling windows. Live music will provide the perfect ambiance for an afternoon of connection – Build valuable relationships in a relaxed, welcoming setting.

Attire: Rustic Elegant

Think “chic day dress” paired with boots or dressy jeans and a button-down shirt with sweater or vest.

To manage the outdoor pathways, stable footwear is recommended. Leave the stilettos at home.

Details

This event is for Chamber members and one adult guest. Registration is $70 per person. Register ASAP as attendance is limited to 150 guests and will sell out.

Due to very limited parking, we ask attendees to carpool. The Chamber will provide a round-trip shuttle (limited to 50 seats) departing from downtown Los Gatos for an additional cost of $30 per person.
