IN-PERSON WORSHIP

Sunday worship services are held in our sanctuary at 9am and 11am. You can prepare for worship by listening to the setlist on Spotify!

Masks are optional. There is a marked "masks required" section in the front right of the sanctuary for those who don't wish to sit with unmasked attendees.

ONLINE WORSHIP

You can join us virtually via our live-streamed service at 9am on YouTube or Facebook, or watch the service on either platform later!

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Newborn-Preschool: Class is available during both services. Upon drop-off, parents/guardians and children receive wristbands with matching numbers. Parents supply their wristband to pick up their child at the conclusion of the service.

Kindergarten-Grade 5: All kids will begin in the sanctuary for worship with their parent/guardian and will be dismissed to the CE Room after the Congregational Prayer.

Grades 6-12: All youth will begin in the sanctuary for worship with their parent/guardian and will be dismissed to the Large Youth Room after the Congregational Prayer.

PASTORAL STAFF VACATIONS

Pastor Lynda will be on vacation November 22-28. If you need assistance, please contact the church office or one of the other pastors!

COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS

We work together every Christmas to bless families in our community with gifts for over 350 children. This year, we invite you to join us in serving in the following ways:

Community Christmas toy drive:

Donate gifts for children ages 2-15 (ideas linked here) between November 27 and December 16 in the box in the lobby!

Community Christmas outreach event:

We need volunteers to serve on Friday, December 15, 5-8pm, bringing gifts out of storage and organizing them on tables. We also need volunteers on Saturday, December 16, 8:30am-1pm, for our outreach event (greeting families and helping them "shop" for gifts). If you can help, please sign up here or at the info desks in the Sanctuary.

BLOOD DRIVE AT HBIC

On Friday, December 16, from 10am to 3pm, the Red Cross will be hosting a Blood Drive in the CE Room at HBIC. There is currently a historic shortage of blood donors, and donating is a wonderful way to show compassion and a giving spirit at this special time of year!

Click here to access the Red Cross registration site, or call 1 (800) 733-2767 to make an appointment.

STAFF CHRISTMAS LOVE GIFT

Leading worship. Teaching. Crafting emails. Coordinating events. Counseling. Organizing volunteers. Drafting sermons. Managing building repairs. Praying. The pastors and staff share their gifts and serve our faith community tirelessly in so many ways throughout the year. During this season of giving and celebration of Christ's birth, the HBIC board invites you to join us in saying "Thank You" to the pastors and staff through a monetary Love Gift.

  • Please note all gifts as "Christmas Love Gift"
  • Gifts can be given through the offering box (envelopes labeled "staff gift" are available near the box), mailed, or donated online
  • Gifts are considered tax deductible
  • Gifts will be received until December 18th

Thank you for showing your appreciation of our staff and pastors in this way.

Blessings,

Rachel Lewis, Church Board Chair

MISSIONS SUNDAY

OFFERING UPDATE

Every year, we take a special Missions Offering, which is used primarily to provide a love gift to all of the missionaries sent out from our church (with a small portion given to BIC World Missions). Since we started collecting this past Sunday, we've reached and surpassed our goal of $12,000 for this year! Praise the Lord!

Together, we've given $14,077.16, and we're not done yet! Each of us is encouraged to ask God for direction in what we are to share in order to support and bless our missionaries. You can still give your Missions Offering onlinein the box in the lobby, or by mailing a check to the church (marked Missions Offering) through the end of November.

GROCERY GIFT CARDS

Did you know that you can purchase gift cards for Giant, Weis and Karns through HBIC and we get 5% of the value of the card? Contact the church office to order if you're interested and we will arrange a pick-up time with you!
