The UT Southwestern Hansjörg Wyss Geriatric Fracture Symposium hosted by the UT Southwestern Department of Orthopaedic Surgery will take place
June 2-3, 2023, at the T. Boone Pickens Biomedical Building (3rd Floor, NG3.112) located on UT Southwestern’s main campus.
This CME event will feature guest speakers from across the country who will present on the advances of fragility fracture care and prevention through orthopaedic case studies and foster discussion on geriatric fracture.
The symposium will be divided up into six sessions with each session having its own unique theme of focus. Sessions include such topics as Building a Geriatric Service, Hip Fracture, Pathologic Fracture, Distal Radius, Proximal Humerus, and a panel discussion with our Foot & Ankle surgeons and moderated by Dane Wukich, M.D., Department Chair of UT Southwestern Orthopaedic Surgery.
The symposium includes a variety of featured guest speakers from multiple departments, including Radiology. Dr. Chhabra will be speaking in the Pathologic Fractures session.
