November 8, 2022 is Election Day and Los Gatos will be voting for three 4-year Town Council Seats. Take time and get to know the candidates by registering for our virtual candidate forum on October 6, 2022. Question for the candidates? Submission can be made at the time of registration and should relate to local business and economic vitality. All questions will be reviewed and selected by the Chamber for relevancy & redundancy. Due to time constraints, not all questions may be addressed.

Beer & Wine Walk Volunteers | |
We Need Your Help! Do you like wine, beer, food and interacting with new people? Are you looking for an opportunity to help in your community on Saturday, October 15? Sign up for a shift or two to volunteer at the Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce Beer & Wine Walk. This year we've added beer to our event, so will be featuring approximately 30 local wineries and breweries, who will be offering tastes out of our restaurants and boutiques. Join us for some fun and possibly new friends! | |

The Chamber, in partnership with Robin Sedgwick and Don Knight of Coldwell Banker Realty, and Stanford Blood Center, is holding a Blood Drive outside our office (10 Station Way). There is always a huge need for blood. Did you know that about every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood.
Visit us outside our office on October 14. Give blood and know you are doing good! Each donor will receive a code to redeem for 4 Tickets to a November Stanford Football Game!

First Fridays Happy Hour for Older Adults | |
Gather your friends for a fun and exciting happy hour the first Friday of every month. The first one is hosted by The Palms on Oct 7 from 4-5:30pm. This is a great way to mingle and meet new friends and stay connected. These great get togethers are brought to you by Town of Los Gatos Senior Services Committee. | |
Los Gatos Children's Christmas/ Holiday Parade

The 64th Annual Los Gatos Children's Christmas/ Holidays Parade will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022, rain or shine. Registration is now available online at https://www.lgsrecreation.org/parade/.
Please register each portion of your unit individually if you have multiple groups. Also, please be sure to complete the registration, waiver, and commercial entry payment as applicable ($50 for businesses). The registration deadline is Friday, October 21, 2022 at 4:00pm. The final parade lineup will be posted online on Thursday, November 10, 2022.

NUMU - Art Now

ArtNow is an annual juried Santa Clara County high school art exhibition and educational program, presented by New Museum Los Gatos (NUMU). The ArtNow Exhibition and supporting programs offer opportunities for high school student artists, from Palo Alto to Gilroy, to gain real-world experience in participating in a juried museum exhibition. This year, students are asked to submit works based on the theme, Unarmed Truth. $16,000 in scholarships and awards are given to participating students.
Applications to the 2023 ArtNow exhibition are open to all Santa Clara County high school students, grades 9-12, public, private, and homeschooled. The exhibition opens to the public on March 31, 2023.
