Senior Keepsakes and Announcements - Deadline to order January 27

Gown Measurement Day

All senior students should report to the Triton Center entrance to be measured for their graduation gowns on Friday, January 6 during lunch hours. If your student is not at school on this day please have them see Mrs. Sidon in the main office no later than Wednesday, January 11.

Seniors: College App Results and Scholarships

College Application Results

Upon receiving the results of your applications (accepted, etc.), please put the results in Naviance. Info in Naviance is strictly confidential. Putting your results in Naviance is very important because the data populates comparison charts used to measure a student's admission chances. Putting your results in Naviance will greatly help the next class of seniors when they start applying to college. Here is how: 

• "Colleges I'm applying to" 
• "Edit" 
• "Result" 
• "Save college application" 

Scholarships

Now it's time to look for money (scholarships) to pay for college. Look in Naviance - there are over 100 local/national outside scholarships listed. When landing scholarships, please keep track of them. You'll have to list all your scholarships at the end of the year, so keeping track of them now is wise.

Upcoming Dates

Kairos Retreat for Juniors & Seniors - Applications Due January 9

Kairos is a high school retreat which seeks to build community, foster trust and reflect more deeply about self and one's relationship with God. Not only does a community grow while on retreat, but also when one returns home. Family and friends become an integral part of the retreat experience.

A young man who experienced a Kairos Retreat stated, "A Kairos Retreat was a turning point in my life. It rejuvenated my faith in God as well as my faith in myself. I owe most of who I am today to the community built on the Kairos that I attended" (Cabrini Retreat Center).

This retreat is open to NDA juniors and seniors and will be held at Camp Tekakwitha February 24 - 26, 2023, at a cost of $100.

Eucharistic Adoration - January 9

A new year offers opportunities for new resolutions to grow mentally, physically and spiritually. One spiritual devotion to help us rest and grow in holiness is Eucharistic Adoration.

Notre Dame Academy's St. Norbert Chapel will be a space to pray with the Most Blessed Sacrament beginning with Mass at 7:20 a.m. through 12:45 p.m.

Parents, friends and family are welcome to join.

IB Information Night - January 9

There will be an IB Informational meeting on Monday, January 9 at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom with Mr. Schultz. This meeting is designed for sophomore families, but all are welcome to attend. If your student is considering taking some IB classes, or wants to be a full IB diploma candidate, the student and a parent should attend this meeting.

Buy Your Tickets Today, The Little Mermaid - January 19 - 22

Travel under the sea with Notre Dame Academy’s production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid. Based on the classic animated film and broadway show, Disney's The Little Mermaid is a beautiful and dynamic musical for all ages to enjoy.

Musical Performances will be:

Thursday, January 19 at 7 p.m.

Friday, January 20 at 7 p.m.

Saturday, January 21 at 2 p.m.

Saturday, January 21 at 7 p.m.

Sunday, January 22 at 2 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased online at ndamusical.ludus.com. Ticket prices are $15 for adults and $10 for students/children.

There will also be tickets available for purchase at the door one hour before each performance.
