We Need Your Photos!

Help us welcome students back to school this fall!

Whether it is preschool, elementary school, middle school, high school, or college/graduate school, we want to celebrate your kids, grandkids, and great grandkids by sharing their back to school photos with our congregation.



Photos will be included in a special slideshow during our worship service on Sunday, September 1st.

Email photos to Nina at nina@saklc.com by Friday, August 30th to have your family member featured in the slideshow.

Planning on being out of town on September 1st but want to see your photos in the Back to School Sunday slideshow? No worries! You can watch the worship service live on Facebook and on our website.

SAKLC at Harvest House Last Week

Extremely hot temperatures could not stop our SAKLC volunteers from loading over 100 car trunks for 200 families with meat, produce, breads and desserts for Harvest House during our Summer of Engagement activities. Pastor Wogen prayed over the food as it was prepared to be distributed to the families in need.

Pastor Ken's Weekly Bible Study

Join us this Summer

Join Pr. Ken each weekly as he leads Bible study! These sessions take place on Wednesday mornings from 11:00am-noon both in-person and on zoom.

The class discusses the Scripture texts assigned for the forthcoming Sunday worship services. Each week there is a good mix of lay people and retired pastors, with each group bringing their unique perspectives on life and Scripture – it’s a fun group!

Pr. Ken shares a calendar month of handouts in advance so that participants can look ahead and read the comments of Lutheran scholars prior to each session. Please click the button below to have materials sent to you.

Movement and Gratitude Exercise Class

Name Tags

If you’ve ordered a name tag, they are hanging on the name tag wall outside of the sanctuary. Don’t forget to wear your name tag on Sundays in order to get to know your neighbor! If you still need a name tag, please contact Nina at nina@saklc.com or at 941-388-1234.
