We supported the Injured Veterans Golf Tournament in Lake Wildwood on Wednesday, 31 July. It was “Sold Out,” and a real success! Our Color Guard was there for the opening.

We also supported the “Official Unveiling Ceremony” at McKnight Crossing, at 4:00 PM, on Thursday, 1 August.

Grass Valley will be hosting a “9/11 Ceremony,” on Wednesday morning, 11 September, on Mill Street.

We will be helping sponsor Nevada County Health and Wellness, at 11:00 AM, on Thursday, 29 August, at the Grass Valley Veterans Hall. We will be providing a Free BBQ Lunch, by Jean Hauser and John Abas, and our Bar will be open. Our Auxiliary will be providing labor assistance.

The owner of Friar Tucks wants to do some free dinners for veterans. We’ll let you know when?

We’ll be having our Executive Board Meeting on Tuesday, 3 September, at 5:00 PM in the Bunker. See you there

All for now…

Claude

By paying your dues, you are part of the largest veterans organization in the USA. We fight for veterans benefits in Congress, and without you in our organization, we can't help our veterans. Now we accept all veterans. It doesn't matter if you were in war or not.

Hey everyone, don't forget to renew your membership if you haven't! I'm sure you want to help your local post stay active, and the fastest (and easiest) way is to make sure you've paid your dues for 2023. If you aren't sure, or if you have any questions, call the office at (530) 575-7002.

Membership dues not only help keep the post running, but allow us to continue to assist local veterans in need. We thank you for your continued support and membership. Together, we are continuing to look out for all our veteran family

We will give the mother a gas card for $500 and a food card for $500. His daughter will get a $1,000 gift card to buy well needed clothing and shoes.
