While working as a corrections officer at the Dade County Jail, he witnessed a figure on a catwalk, one moment it was there then it was gone. Hello Sebastian River Area,

This years Gala was extra special because we were also celebrating 100 years for the City of Sebastian! OCTOBER EVENTS

The Pelican Island Conservation Society is sponsoring the nineth annual Indian River Bird & Nature Art Show in conjunction with National Wildlife Refuge Week, October 8-14, 2023. The event is centered at the Environmental Learning Center in Wabasso, with other activities taking place “in the field.” Be sure to get out and visit the Pelican Island NWR, or your favorite refuge during NWR Week, or anytime!

In honor of the centennial year, we have a new costume category: “ Pioneer Days!” The winner of this category will be featured in the December 8 Centennial Celebration. See the “Pioneer Days” flyer for more details.

Prizes will be available for costume contest winners. There will be lots of candy for those participating in the trunk or treat. And we will have music provided by DJ-Shhh-op. We hope to see you there!
