Santa Claus is Coming to Town

December 13

6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.


Santa’s coming to the library to visit with all the children and to hear what they want for Christmas!   There will be lots of opportunities for fun for the whole family: photo opportunities, ornament-making, games to play, and more!  No registration is required and all events are free.

Events Planned for the Whole Family

Kids Contest December 5-17

Children from preschool to 4th grade will enjoy the December contest as they hunt for hidden elves in the Children’s Area.  The elves hold clues to a hidden message which you must solve to get a special treat!

Kid's Ornament Making

Make an ornament for your tree or give one away on December 3-10 at the Creative Corner in the Children’s Area.  We’re bringing out leftover projects from years past and sharing them with you to spread some holiday cheer.

Storytime Reminders

The Fall #2 Storytime Sessions ends on Dec. 9. The Winter Storytime Session will run from January 23- February 24, 2023, and sign-up for this session begins on Monday, January 16 at 10:00 AM.  Baby Cuddle Time will continue on Mondays from 10:00-10:30 AM, Toddler Tales on Wednesdays from 9:30- 10:15 AM or 10:30-11:15 AM, and Preschool Story Hour from 10:15-11:15 AM on Thursdays.


Upcoming Programs for 6th-12th Grade Youth

Teen Tinker Lab

Youth in grades 6-12th grades are invited to the Teen Den from December 6-23 to make holiday cards and ornaments.  We’ll provide the supplies, you provide the creativity and bring some joy to a friend or family member.
