INVEST IN WATER CONSERVATION, IT HAS GREAT ROI

The average price for water in the Portland Metro area have increased from 61 – 361% over the past 5 years? WATER RATES ARE THE FASTEST GROWING UTILITY COST IN THE PORTLAND METRO AREA! As you can see from the chart above, all rates have risen, some more than other, and the rates vary widely from city to city.

To help our customers mitigate these horrific increases, we are proposing all properties convert to Weathermatic Smartlink Weather-Based Irrigation which can save 20-30% of normal water use. Many of our customers already have and we now have 600 controllers in this program. However, that is just the first step. Weather-Based irrigation helps accurately irrigate to replace the water lost due to weather but if the irrigation system has poor coverage or the landscape has changed as it matures, changes to the system also can reduce water use and cost. That is why we have developed and are promoting our  Water Conservation Plans

 Weather Based Smart Irrigation Control

Pacific Landscape Management is a Weathermatic Premiere Partner allowing us to offer their SmartLink Wireless Landscape Network Weather Base Irrigation Control  as a subscription, saving our customers the previously required Capital Expenditure. For a small increase in the monthly fee, you will avoid the capital installation cost.

 Water Conservation Plans

We have developed a water conservation plan program that performs a detailed and thorough evaluation of their site and irrigation system to make the appropriate modifications to the landscaping irrigation system in order to reduce water usage and save operational dollars. These include replacement of obsolete and failing components, converting to drip irrigation and newer technology, adopting weather-based irrigation, and including lawn conversion where lawn is impractical to effectively water, regardless of the delivery system.
