Fall on the farm is characterized by cool-weather crops, and among them, brassicas take center stage. These hearty vegetables thrive as temperatures drop (which hopefully they will do soon...), drawing from our rich, fertile soil to produce some of the most nutrient-dense veggies of the year. From tender broccoli to robust kale, the brassica family is known for its vibrant flavors, versatility, and exceptional health benefits, making them the stars of our fall harvest.
In the fields, our organic cauliflower grows with tightly packed heads nestled within broad, protective leaves. Their bright white florets are shielded from the sun by the leaves, giving the heads a fresh, crisp appearance. The cauliflower’s uniform shape and clean, compact growth make it easy to harvest and a are a sign of healthy, well-tended soil. We look forward to putting these gems in your boxes soon!
