CCAoNH Updates

CCAoNH Team Embracing a Growth Mindset

This past weekend, Staff from CCAoNH attended The BirchWalking ReTREEt at Geneva Point in Meredith. It was a time to replenish, rethink, and reboot for the coming training year.

In October, staff from CCAoNH will have the opportunity to attend the Child Care Aware of America (CCAoA) Leadership Institute: Strong Leaders, Strong Child Care, in Salt Lake City, Utah. This summit offers a chance to hear national-level speakers, learn about upcoming developments for states, and network with peers. Last year, we were fortunate to hear Dr. Junlei Li speak, and his powerful message inspired us to invite him as the closing speaker for the 2024 Keys to Quality Conference.

Enjoy This Wellness Moment: Authentic Positive Inspiration

"The most powerful relationship you will ever have is the relationship with yourself."Steve Maraboli

Authentic positive inspiration is about offering genuine encouragement and motivation that deeply resonates, fostering hope, empowerment, and positive change. Unlike negative inspiration— which is driven by fear, doubt, or discouragement—authentic inspiration nurtures mental and emotional well-being. Though negative experiences might provoke action, they often do so at the cost of our inner peace.

Find out where authentic inspiration takes place in your life by taking our quiz here!

In this uplifting video, seasoned speaker, Wall Street veteran, and singer-songwriter Carla Harris shares how she embraced her authentic self in every setting: Power of Authenticity

One way to cultivate your authentic inspiration is by creating a “Personal Inspiration Plan.”

  1. Reflect on three sources of genuine inspiration in your life (people, quotes, or activities).
  2. Develop one action that will help you embrace and express your authenticity.

"The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are." — Carl Jung

Join Scott Noyes of Empowering Programs for a dynamic morning of professional development that you can put into practice right away!

Join us at Little Antler's Learning Center in PlymouthNH, on Saturday, October 26th, for our first of two annual Infant and Toddler Institutes!

We’ll kick off with “Infant Insights”, a workshop focused on key infancy issues ranging from sleep patterns to attachment. Dive into the “how” and “why” of playing with babies, and gain valuable insights into brain development research. This thoughtful session will provide strategies that directly impact your work with infants.

Finally, we’ll move into “Toilet Training & Other Toddler Themes”. This seminar explores the exciting yet puzzling behaviors of toddlers, from toilet learning to temper tantrums. By examining the complex developmental changes that occur between nine months and three years, we’ll uncover the stress and wonder that accompany this stage and gain a deeper understanding of toddlers’ emerging sense of self.

This training will award participants up to three (3) hours of professional development. Training Hours count towards yearly required professional development needs. It also qualifies for PD hours needed for the Infant and Toddler Endorsement for the Early Childhood Professional Development System credential applications.
