7th ANNUAL CHHE SYMPOSIUM

Sex Differences in Response to Environmental Exposures


The 7th Annual CHHE symposium took place on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at the NC State Talley Student Union. The symposium featured research presentations by guest speakers and CHHE members in the area of Sex Differences in Response to Environmental Exposures. There were also poster presentations from CHHE members, their collaborators, graduate students and postdocs on a variety of topics. The event was attended by over 50 faculty, staff, students and CHHE affiliates.

David Collier received a Master Educator Award 


Dr. Collier received a Master Educator Award from East Carolina University's Brody School of Medicine in the category of Outstanding Teaching or Mentorship in recognition of his outstanding teaching and mentorship of undergraduate, medical and graduate students, medical residents, fellows and peers.


Dr. Collier will also be giving an invited presentation "Human Health Outcomes and PFAS Exposure" for the Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant's Great Lakes PFAS Research Competition scoping session on March 8, 2023.

Kurt Marsden Named 2022-23 University Faculty Scholars


Dr. Marsden is 1 of 22 early- and mid-career faculty member to receive this designation in recognition of their outstanding academic achievements and contributions to NC State through their teaching, scholarship and service to the university and beyond. Article
