It's Homecoming Week!

We kick off tomorrow night with a middle school Halloween Dance in the auditorium from 7 pm to 9 pm. Tickets will be sold at the door: $10 per person with a discount to $5 if the student is in a costume. This dance is for grades 6th, 7th and 8th.

Our Homecoming Carnival and Bonfire is Friday night. ALL are welcome!

There will be bounce houses, games, face painting, a Spaghetti Feed, a Sweet Shack, and a Bonfire Rally.

There is no entrance fee, but tickets will be for sale if you want to participate in games, activities, and purchase food.

The Spaghetti Feed will be a separate ticket. All funds raised will go directly to school clubs, classes, and student government.

On Saturday, our football team takes on the Del Norte Warriors. The Homecoming Court will be introduced at halftime of the varsity game and we will crown our 2022 Homecoming Queen and King.

The high school will have our semi-formal dance Saturday night in the back parking lot from 7 pm to 10 pm. Guest passes are available in the office and are due by the end of the day on Wednesday the 26th.

Juniors Spaghetti Feed Tickets on Sale

Juniors are preselling tickets for their Homecoming Carnival fundraiser. Tickets will also be available in the office. Get yours today!

Mod Pizza Fundraiser

The Fine Arts Department is having a fundraiser Saturday, October 22nd at Mod Pizza in Eureka. If you give them this code MODF13233 when you order, 20% of the bill goes to help our department go to Europe this spring. This is a great opportunity for our kids to experience and explore the music and arts of other cultures.

Thank you!

Juniors and Seniors: Looking for a Job?

Looking for seasonal work experience with a local retailer? Retail businesses are hiring for the Holiday season and first-time hires are possible if you know how to be job ready!

If you are interested in becoming a seasonal hire, sign up with Ms. Scott to attend a Monday Job Club for juniors and seniors, 16 years and older. Karen Brooks, Internship Coordinator at Humboldt Office of Education is hosting the workshops and has over 30-years experience coaching job readiness and employable skills. There will be three virtual (zoom) workshops, from 1-2 pm, on Oct 31, Nov 7 & Nov 14 to accomplish:

  • Preparing a professional resume.
  • Preparing a generic cover letter.
  • Learning job ready attitudes and behaviors.
  • Learning how to fill out an application.
  • Learning how to fill out new hire documents.
  • Confirming that you have a photo ID and Social Security card.
