As the week has progressed I have been less and less confident that I would see the Northern Lights like some of the new sources have been hyping. This is not the first time I have missed them. It reminded me of a time many years ago when Justin was away on a business trip with the big wigs of the company and they took a small plane to a school job site in Northern Wisconsin. On the way home, looking out their window they could see the sheets of green and purple all around the plane. Amazing!
Seeing and acknowledging God's creation is a great way for me to give thanks to God . I might not see the Northern Lights this week, but I did walk around the yard with my mom one day and we watched a skink eat a bug. Thanks be to God! And we looked at God's beautiful purple blossoms on the hostas. Thanks be to God! Earlier in the week, Tina and I evaluated a large bee hive on one of the buildings crafted by God's creatures. Even that elicites a thanks be to God!
Something that does NOT get a resounding thanks be to God, is another scam going around. I do NOT have a new assistant named Rebekah from the church trying to get in touch with you about an important issue. Tina is very much still on staff. Thanks be to God!
God's Peace,
Pastor Sara
