Gospel in Focus

February 26, 2023 Jesus is the New Adam, as He refuses to succumb to the devil’s temptation... “At this, Jesus said to him, ‘Get away Satan! It is written: “The Lord, your God shall you  worship and Him alone shall you serve.”’”  —Matthew 4:10

Discussion Questions

Why do you think the devil thought he could tempt Jesus?

How are the devil’s temptations towards us different from how he tempted Jesus? How is it the same?

How can we respond to temptation?
