Clothing and Food Donation Drive

Sunday, April 13

This Sunday, Walker Moore is hosting a clothing and food donation drive for Haygood United Methodist Church. The donation drive is part of his Eagle Scout project for Troop 455. If you have any extra clothes you no longer wear or canned/non-perishable foods, please consider making a donation. After Sunday, these white and blue donation bins will remain permanently at the church. If you can't make it next week, please drop by anytime for a quick and easy donation. The proceeds will support our communities through programs like Atlanta Missions and Intown Cares. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Leave a Legacy at Haygood

As we prepare to celebrate a 100 years at Haygood, we also look ahead, preparing for the next 100 years of faith and service. You have an opportunity to be part of this future through our Haygood Legacy Initiative.

One way to leave a lasting impact is through Haygood’s Endowment Program. The Haygood Endowment Fund is a ministry dedicated to providing lasting financial support for our church’s mission. Contributions to the fund are received by the church and invested through the Georgia United Methodist Foundation, with the income from these investments used to support Haygood’s ministries.

By contributing to an endowment, you create a legacy that continues to transform lives for generations to come. These gifts help:

·      Enhance our campus,

·      Support outreach ministries, and

·      Fund musical programs and other church initiatives.

Wouldn’t it be great if we were to receive 100 gifts or bequests, one for each year of our church’s life? We invite you to consider including Haygood in your will—and if you have already done so, please let us know! We currently have received one gift, and another one included in their will.

For more information click herehttps://www.haygoodumc.org/haygood-endowment

Let’s come together to gift Haygood another 100 years of faithful ministry. For more information, feel free to email me at will@haygoodumc.org.
