Puesta del Sol Lottery for Kindergarten 2023-2024
The Open Transfer and Choice Schools/Program application period for the 2023-24 school year will be from 9am Monday, December 5, 2022 through 4:30pm Friday, January 20, 2023.
Puesta del Sol will accept non-resident entry level applications and non-residents will be placed on a waitlist for consideration after all resident students have been placed.
Puesta del Sol Elementary and Spanish Immersion Information Night will take place on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 5:30pm at the new school building.

Ice Skate and raise money for
Puesta del Sol!
Join us in celebrating the "Bellevue Magic Season" with ice skating in downtown Bellevue, while also raising money for Puesta del Sol!
During the following dates, the Bellevue Downtown Ice Rink will donate $3 for every paying visitor who mentions "I'm with Puesta del Sol Elementary":
November 18, 2022 - January 8, 2023
You must notify the rink staff upon paying that you are with Puesta del Sol (they are not able to track fundraising tally on the e-ticketing ticket reservation platform).
Ice skating opens to the public on Friday, November 18 and closes on Sunday, January 8. Families can make it a night of holiday fun with a visit to Snowflake Lane at The Bellevue Collection and stroll through Garden d’Lights at the Bellevue Botanical Garden.

Participate in Dining and Activities for Dinero events, or follow the links to register your rewards cards. Dining and Activities for Dinero - These programs are ways in which the Puesta del Sol PTA raises money by receiving a portion of your purchase price for the sponsored event, which expands beyond just dining! We have teamed up with area vendors so that when you purchase and either mention Puesta del Sol or present a required coupon or flyer, the Puesta del Sol PTA receives a portion of your purchase back – often as much as 20%! Please contact your Admin or HR benefits representative to find out how you can submit your donation match request. Host Families Needed for 2023-2024 School Year
The Amity Program offers interns a unique cultural and teaching experience at Puesta. We have four amazing interns this year who are serving in various classrooms.
We are looking for host families for the 2023-2024 school year. Hosting can be 3-6-9 month experience. If you are interested in learning about the program or hosting or connecting to a current host family, please contact amity@puestadelsolpta.org.

Garden Club Chair Needed
PTA Garden Leadership Open!
Yes, there is going to be a garden plot for every classroom at the new school! Now we need someone willing to help guide Puesta del Sol’s new garden and post-pandemic garden program for the PTA. The position is open starting in January. It’s an incredible opportunity to introduce students to the natural world we rely on in a hands on, sensory way. Kids adore the garden; it’s a fun and meaningful way to spend an afternoon! If you are interested, please email schoolgarden@puestadelsolpta.org
