Hazel McCallion, former Mississauga Mayor, passed away at 101

On Sunday, January 29, 2023, Hazel McCallion, 12-term former Mayor for the City of Mississauga, passed away. She was a true champion for our entire industry.

Last December, we had the pleasure of hosting Hazel at our Annual Christmas Lunch (she never missed one). In true Hazel fashion, she commanded a room of more than 2500 guests with her encouraging, passionate and visionary remarks.

She was a tireless advocate, a selfless leader, and a true legend.

The TCA family extends our sincerest condolences to the McCallion family, friends, and loved ones.
