Two Are Better Than One
“Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labor.” -Ecclesiastes 4:9

Greetings Ministry Partners,
God, in His infinite wisdom, has shown us many ways to multiply the fruit of our labor. One of these ways is by working in teams, not by working alone as some sort of wannabe superhero, but by supporting and helping one another. “For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falls; for he has not another to help him up” (Ecclesiastes 4:10). I thank the Lord for our team members who joyfully work together to serve the Lord!

We appreciate your prayers and support.

Our team of coordinators started eight new classes in August, with a total of 120 new students. Five of these new classes, with a total of 90 students, are in Northern Mindanao. Thank God for the hard work of our coordinators and teachers!
Pastor Val, Pastor Dominto, and Pastor Angelou Esto started a new class at Eternity Baptist Church in Magawa, Impasug-ong, Bukidnon. Pastor Esto will be the main teacher of this class, but other teachers are ready to substitute for him if necessary.
Pastor Esto took some of his students to Agusan del Sur to teach some of his other students who live there. They rode their motorcycles on more than 110 miles of mountain roads. The team left home on Sunday morning, spent the night on thin beddings on the church building floor, and returned home on Monday night. Praise the Lord for their sacrificial service!
On August 9, Pastor Val and the teachers at Gusa Baptist Church held an orientation for the fifth batch of students at Gusa.
Our team of coordinators in South Central Mindanao started a new class at Matutum View Baptist Church in Polomolok, South Cotabato. It is worth noting that the coordinators in South Cotabato and the volunteer teachers always work together to promote CCI, lead TTWs and seminars, visit classes, and support the churches in the area.
On August 12, the graduates of the first batch of students at Silay Newlife Christian Ministries started training the second batch of students under the direction of Pastor Syjuco.
Teacher Training Workshops (TTWs)
On August 10, Pastor Eloi Cabillan, with the help of Pastor Manny and Sister Linda Gocon, held a Teacher Training Workshop (TTW) for four CCI graduates in Santa Rosa, Laguna. Pastor Samson signed the partnership agreement and is planning to start a class soon.

God's Financial Principals Seminar
I finished teaching the GFP seminar at our local church with 10 participants.

Our local church, Bible Christian Baptist Church, held its second baptismal service this year with nine new believers. Some of these are from Cora’s Bible study with the children in our neighborhood. It is so gratifying to see the Lord working in the hearts of these young people!
On August 19, Pastor Arthur Robles, Area Coordinator, and Pastor Chavez, CCI Teacher, attended the groundbreaking ceremony of Riverside Baptist Church in T’boli, South Cotabato. This church was planted by Mario Sugan, one of our CCI students at the CCI Center School in Lambuling, T’boli, South Cotabato.
Praise the Lord for the funds that He provided for motorcycles.
