Friday, Sept. 8th, 2023

Bus departs from McPherson at 9:45 AM. With group check-in, we have to arrive at the Alaskan counter (Wichita Airport) 3 hours early. 

After landing in Seattle, a bus will take us to the Edgewater Hotel, the over-water luxury hotel featuring some of the best dining and sunset views in the city, thoughtful amenities, weekly live music, and an ambiance enriched with art, architecture, and a rich musical history.

Take time to freshen up in your rooms before our dinner together. Dinner will be at the hotel starting at 7:00 PM. Pre-select dinner choices from menu when you make final trip pmt.

Saturday, Sept. 9th, 2023

Depart hotel at 9:30 AM and travel to the Space Needle. After exploring there, enjoy lunch on your own with multiple options within the Armory. Customized Tours will pick us up at the Space Needle at 12:30 PM for a 3-Hour City Tour of Seattle. This private tour will include the main sites as well as Seattle history.

Arrive back at the hotel with time to explore. The Edgewater is within walking distance of Pike Place Market, the first ever Starbucks, and many exciting things along Seattle's Waterfront. Dinner on your own.

Sunday, Sept. 10th, 2023

Day-trip to Mt. Rainier. Pick up will be at 8:00 AM in the lobby for Mt. Rainier. We will have two buses taking us on a full day to explore the outdoor paradise of Mt. Rainier! Its' a narrated scenic drive featuring Alder Lake Park, Eatonville, Longmire visitors center and museum. We will visit Christine Falls, walk along to the Nisqually River up to Narada Falls (most popular waterfall at the state park). Experience the view of Paradise, and simply enjoy the scene at Reflection Lake, which provides one of the most iconic views of Mt. Rainier. We will plan to be back at the hotel by 4:00 PM to enjoy dinner on your own.

Monday, Sept. 11, 2023

FREE DAY! This is your opportunity to experience what YOU enjoy. Perhaps it's the Seattle Coffee Cultural Tour, Seattle Chocolate Tour, or Half Day Wine Tasting Tour. Close to our hotel is the Seattle Aquarium, Arbor Cruises, Seattle Great Wheel, Elliott's Bay, the Seattle Art Museum, The Museum of Pop Culture, Chihuly Garden and Glass, Olympic Sculpture Park, and so much more. A 4-5 hr. whale watching tour departs from Edmonds, just north of Seattle, so transportation would need to be considered. Or you can take the ferry from Pier 52 over to Bainbridge Island to enjoy the quaint town. Lots of options.

• Optional Pike Place Market Food Tour ($75) Enjoy 8 or more diverse tastings of locally made goods in this guided, behind-the-scenes 2 hr. walking tour, and meet farmers, butchers, bakers and winemakers, but watch out for the flying fish! Choose from the early-bird morning tour at 9:00, 10:00 or 10:30 am, or sign up for an afternoon tour at 1:30 or 2:00 pm. The $75 optional tour fee is required at time of deposit to guarantee space.

Tuesday, Sept. 12th, 2023

Depart hotel at 5:15 AM to transfer back to the Seattle Airport. Once we land in Wichita, our bus will pick us up and bring us back to McPherson.
