55th Annual Cutler Bay/Whispering Pines 4th of July Celebration
We had an incredible time at the 55th Annual Cutler Bay/Whispering Pines 4th of July Celebration, and we can't wait to share all the excitement with you! This year's event was truly memorable, with over 150 golf carts decked out in patriotic splendor parading through the streets. We were honored to have esteemed elected officials such as Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, Commissioner Danielle Cohen Higgins, Commissioner Kionne McGhee, and Luisa Santos, Miami-Dade School Board Member, join us in celebrating our nation's independence. Here's what they are saying. A special thank you goes out to our generous sponsors, Land Rover South Dade and Southland Mall, for their invaluable support in making this celebration possible. The smiles on everyone's faces and the sense of unity that filled the air exemplified this special day's spirit. We're grateful to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of this event, and we can't wait to see you all again next year!

Preserving Cutler Bay's Future: Potential Green Space vs. Development
In this video, Mayor Tim Meerbott addresses a pressing concern shared by the community: the future of Cutler Bay's green spaces. Specifically, the focus is on the property located at 87th Ave and Old Cutler Road. While the owner has the right to develop the land, the Town Council and Mayor Meerbott believe in preserving the limited green space available. They are exploring the possibility of acquiring the property to prevent the construction of apartment buildings. This video highlights the importance of community input and invites residents to share their thoughts on the matter. To provide your input, please email your thoughts and opinions to townmanager@cutlerbay-fl.gov. Don't miss this opportunity to have your voice heard and make a difference in your town.
