Community Conversations – Fiscal Planning

We would like to invite you to participate in a collaborative conversation to provide feedback on proactive long-term financial planning, state funding, and facility improvements.

Kings Superintendent Greg Sears and Kings Treasurer Mike Morrow will be facilitating the conversations on February 28 at 7:00 pm at Columbia Intermediate School and March 1 at 7:00 pm at South Lebanon Elementary.

Both sessions will be the exact same, so please feel free to attend the one that is most convenient for you. We expect each session to take approximately one hour. Your participation is crucial to ensuring that we create a plan that best serves our community. We value your input and look forward to hearing your ideas and suggestions as we work together to create a plan for the future of our school district.

We hope to see you at one of these sessions, and we thank you in advance for your time and input.

She will also present an excerpt from the book called “Every Voice Has A Home,” where students simultaneously lead voice placement and the charge for cultural health within their choral program.

Road Closures

The Warren County Engineer's Office has alerted us of some local road closures that you may want to be aware of.

Grandin Road, between Grandin Ridge Drive and Venture Way, will experience intermittent closures Monday, February 20, through Thursday, February 23, during the day time hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Closures are necessary for Duke Energy crews to complete short-term full closure(s) of Grandin Road to remove overhead lines. Specific time of the closure(s) are undetermined, and as these will be short-term closures, traffic will be stopped and held by law enforcement officers. Motorists may want to seek alternate routes to avoid delay. Intermittent single-lane restrictions will also be in place while crews are at work at other times, and traffic will be maintained by flaggers. No detour will be posted.

Fosters-Maineville Road, between Faller Road and Kings Court, will be closed beginning Monday, February 20, for five (5) days, weather permitting. The closure is for an underground utility construction, which will be completed by a contractor for the Warren County Water and Sewer Department. The detour for the closure will utilize Old 3’C Highway, US22/SR3 and SR48.
