Storage of Personal Items on Your Computer

I did a similar article a while back but feel the need to do one again based on a recent situation.

A community member asked me to help with a computer that would not start. The urgency came about because the computer contained many years worth of family pictures. Since the computer would not work properly, they did not have access to the pictures and were concerned that they lost them.

To help prevent this, make sure your computer or phone is backed up to icloud or Google (or some other service). That way if your phone or computer goes down, you can almost seamlessly recover your important data. I use Google and everytime I take a picture or video, within a couple of hours it is also available in Google Photos. Very convenient and secure. I do not have to worry about losing precious memories.

Just wanted to try to help prevent this from happening to you.

News from Kindergarten

The kindergarteners were very busy working hard on their iPads to complete their winter NWEA tests this week. We are continuing to work on our nursery rhymes and learning subtraction! Today we had our very own spelling bee…the winning word was “hush”. They all did a great job and earned a sticker!
