Mark Your Calendar for Dads Take Your Child to School Day Happening Thursday, September 19

This day serves to highlight and support fatherhood engagement in education by helping schools foster this important connection with fathers and father figures. This includes, but is not limited to: brothers, uncles, grandparents, stepfathers, male mentors, and other significant male role models in a child’s life.

Can’t make drop-off or pick-up?

There are many ways that fathers and father figures can engage in the education of their children, including assisting with homework, regularly attending parent-teacher conferences, having an open dialogue with teachers concerning academic progress, and participating in school activities.
