Read Local, Shop Local Updated for 2023

Find Out How You Can Sign Up Today!

We are excited to share that our Read Local, Shop Local program has been updated for 2023. The program is designed to promote local businesses and our libraries.

Starting this year, Read Local, Shop Local is a rewards program run from the library that motivates Altadenans to visit and “check in” with local participating businesses. We provide interested library users with a rewards card that they use when they check in at participating businesses. The business checks a box for each visit and posts a monthly library flyer.

In return, we feature the business in our monthly in-library display, include it on the Read Local, Shop Local webpage, and spotlight the business in an issue of our eConnect newsletter. (For full details about the promotional benefits, go to our website, www.altadenalibrary.org/shoplocal/business).

Sound good? Then we encourage local businesses to sign up today by filling out the form at www.altadenalibrary.org/shoplocal/business.
