Folsom Lake State Recreation Area

Spring camping season is just around the corner! if you're a nature lover looking to help the earth and keep our state parks looking beautiful, register to volunteer for the California State Parks Foundation now! California State Parks Foundation offers opportunities to volunteer at state parks every month, check their calendar to see what dates work best for you. If you live in the greater Auburn/Sacramento area there is an excellent opportunity to volunteer at Folsom Lake State Recreation Area on February 23, 2023, from 9 am to 12 pm.

Pio Pico State Historic Park

California State Parks Foundation will also be volunteering at Pio Pico State Historic Park February 22, 2023. If you're in the area and looking to get outdoors this is a great opportunity. California State Parks Foundation is trying to restore the parks grove by planting Valencia Orange tees!
