9th Annual Trivia Night Recap

After a two-year Covid break, CEF's Trivia Night returned on February 11th. 37 teams and 400 players came together for ten rounds of brainteasers. The sold-out event raised over $35,000 to benefit Chatham’s six public schools.

There was no shortage of creativity with team names such as Let’s Get Quizzical!, My Kids Are Smarter Than Me, Fast Times at Chatham High, Low Expectations, and Green Village People. In the end, it was the “We’re All Mad Here” team who emerged as the overall winner of the game with each contestant dressed up as one of the characters of Alice in Wonderland.

The Chatham Education Foundation extends its sincerest gratitude to the charismatic Chris Tomaino, who returned to emcee the event, game masters, Zahrah Khan, Nona LeRoux, and Erik Metviner for their masterful creation of trivia questions, CEF’s Events & Fundraising Chair, Andrea Caserta, and the many volunteers and friends of CEF that made the event run smoothly including guest judges-Tracey Tango of Art with Heart and Joann Carroll of Helping Hands. A special Thank You to Debbie Woerner Real Estate Team of Coldwell Banker and Dr. Barbara Fodero of Chatham Orthodontics for sponsoring the event. Many thanks to Summit Soundz for their superb audiovisual support. And last but not least, thank you to Alan Routh for his fine photography.
