A LETTER FROM OUR PRESIDENT |
St. Francis Borgia family,
Hello. We are well into the fall semester and just a few weeks away from Homecoming, which will be held the weekend of October 11-12. Time is flying here on campus!
In this month’s newsletter, you’ll see information for music program alumni who have the opportunity to purchase a former band uniform. We are selling these to raise money for the music program. This is possible because we were able to purchase new uniforms, choral gowns, and several new instruments thanks to the generosity of the Borgia community at our 2023 Legacy Gala. That year’s Fund-A-Need raised $100,000 for our music programs.
The 2024 Gala Fund-A-Need focused on campus safety, specifically our security camera system. Again, the Borgia family responded, investing enough funding in our school to completely overhaul our security camera system throughout campus and make other safety improvements in and out of the building. The work done on our security system helps provide a safe, comfortable learning environment for our students and allows us to work even closer with our law enforcement partners should the need ever arise.
We continue to be so grateful for the support from our community, especially our fantastic alumni. We hope to see you at Homecoming - during the parade or at the alumni barbeque before the big football game against Wentzville Holt! St. Francis Borgia, pray for us.
Sincerely,
Matt Schutte
President, SFBHS

This program is designed to offer significant marketing value throughout diverse multi-platform media channels, ensuring businesses receive authentic and compelling advertising opportunities. Through various sponsorship tiers, Borgia proudly provides local businesses with multiple advertising options.
Businesses participating in the Community Partners Program benefit in the following ways:
- Supporting the mission of St. Francis Borgia High School

- Enjoying a simplified, once-a-year sponsorship process
- Accessing exclusive perks, such as VIP event tickets
This sponsorship program connects businesses to a broad in-person and online network, reaching thousands within the Borgia community and beyond.

GENERATIONS OF TALENT:
Borgia Alumni Collaborate on Film Set
| |
At St. Francis Borgia High School, we are proud to celebrate the achievements of our alumni, especially when they cross paths in exciting professional opportunities. Recently, Bill Parmentier '00 and Peyton Granneman '24 joined forces on the set of a TV commercial shot in Columbia, MO, under the guidance of Joe Bitzer, assistant director and an esteemed former faculty member.
Bill, a highly regarded actor and production designer in the St. Louis region, continues to make waves in the motion picture industry. Mr. Bitzer invited Peyton, now a freshman at the University of Missouri—Columbia, to gain real-world experience as a production assistant on the project.
Mr. Bitzer has long been dedicated to mentoring Borgia students and offering them unique opportunities to work on professional film sets. Recently, both Peyton and fellow classmate Will Richardson '24 have benefited from his mentorship.
This collaboration highlights the enduring connection between Borgia students and alums and the real-world experiences that shape their futures.
