YOUTH!

Build your own snowman: Feb 5^th, 5pm at Whitehouse Hope UMC. Youth will make their own "snow" and tasked to build the most unique snowmen possible! Bring a creative mind and get ready to have some fun!

Walleyes Game: February 25^th, 7:15pm puck drop. Parents and kids invited. Please let Pastor Teresa know if you are interested no later than January 31^st. Group cost will be calculated after we know how many will be attending. 

Susie picked up our collection of donations. 209 coats, 34 scarves, 133 pairs of mittens/gloves, and 137 hats! Way to go! Keep them coming!

JANUARY MISSION FOCUS

Compassionately serving families since 1984, the Center brings the love of Jesus to men and women. Pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, parenting classes, counseling, all free and confidential, in addition to providing clothes, diapers, blankets, toys, and other items are all included in the Center's outreach.

Look for the Teacher's Toolbox cart located in the Gathering Space. On the front of the cart are requests for needed items to be donated.

The Snow People will invade Secor Metropark this year. Snow Place Like Metroparks will feature over 120 snowmen decorated by members, staff, volunteers and community groups to bring holiday cheer to the park.

Visitors are able to drive through the display to see each of the unique snowmen in this year’s Snow Place Like Metroparks.

Reservations Required, Fee: $3

Wildwood Preserve Metropark

Step right up! Step right up! The great wonder, "Wildwood Willie", is here to impress with his weather-predicting powers. Will he wow the crowd with an early spring or shock the show with six more weeks of winter? Join us at Wildwood Preserve Metroparks to find out! Be entertained by the lore and legend of Groundhogs Day, and explore the nature and science of this wild real-world creature through stories, songs, crafts, games, and a walk to find "Wildwood Willie". Register participating children only. This program runs rain or shine. Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear. Minors must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.

Here is a fun family activity that I learned when my family and I lived in Canada!

You just need maple syrup, popsicle stick, and snow!
