October 2024

FROM THE DIRECTOR

Fall is such a special time at All Saints School! The Outdoor Classroom will soon fill with pumpkins, and our Little Saints are settling into a comfortable school routine. The teachers have bonded with the children and are centering their curriculum and instruction around the interests and abilities of their individual students. The children are forming and strengthening friendships, learning and growing all along the way. Life is good!

Thank you to Alice Maguire and Maura Gillon for planning and organizing a fantastic Welcome Back Coffee, and thank you to everyone who attended! We are so grateful for all the involvement and support.

Parent Teacher Conferences are coming up on Friday, October 25th and Monday, October 28th. Good communication between home and school is crucial for a positive school experience. The teachers are observing the children, making anecdotal notes, and collecting a few items for individual portfolios. They will also fill out an assessment, which will help them to focus their instruction and identify areas for development. Be on the lookout for a SignUpGenius in the coming weeks.

We are looking forward to a wonderful October at All Saints!

With Love,

Emory

PUMPKIN & CANDY DONATIONS NEEDED

Ms. Shari is collecting pumpkins (any size, any number) for play and exploration in our Outdoor Classroom. The pumpkins will also be used for decoration during Trunk-or-Treat.

In addition, we are collecting candy and small toys for Trunk-or-Treat!

Donations can be dropped off all month long through car line or in the shopping cart located in our breezeway. Thank you!

YOGA UPDATE

Pre-K and Kindergarten

After 12 years as the Yoga teacher at All Saints School, Ms. Karen is moving on to a new role as a Certified Yoga Teacher at AdventHealth Children’s Hospital. We are grateful for the positive impact she has had on our school community. Please join us in thanking, congratulating, and praying for Karen as she embarks on this new adventure!

We are excited to announce that Ms. Michelle is stepping in as the new Yoga teacher! Michelle has been a part of the All Saints family for many years as a parent, volunteer, and teacher. She is really looking forward to being back at a place that means so much to her and teaching something that is such an important part of her life.

FROM THE PTO

The All Saints School Parent Teacher Organization is excited to announce the date for our annual school fundraiser. Please join us Friday, March 7 at 7 PM for the Big Saints Bash at the Winter Park Country Club. This is an adults-only evening with silent auction, open bar, food trucks, dancing, and a game of chance.

Thank you to all the parents who have signed up to be part of the PTO. It’s these volunteers who make possible the 12 events we put on each year. If you would like to learn more about ways to get involved with the PTO click HERE
