Jewish Non-Fiction Book Club |

In this New York Times Bestseller, the author discusses Yiddish and how it relates to Diaspora Jewish Culture over history. The book provides a fascinating insight into the interaction between Jewish language and culture. The author, a leading figure in Yiddish, has a wealth of information on a wide variety of Yiddish words and expressions.

Hillel of Silicon Valley - L'Dor V'Dor 2023 |

We will again gather virtually on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. This year, we will be honoring our Executive Director, Sarita Bronstein, for her ten years of devoted service and for her many accomplishments at leading an organization that has become known locally and around the world. Because of Sarita’s efforts, Hillel of Silicon Valley is a welcoming community for students and which cares about each students’ well-being, their intellectual curiosity, their zest for Jewish life and their need for belonging.

Holocaust/Tolerance Education Exhibit at Temple Emanu-El - Free Museum |
April 13 - 20th// 10am // In Person
CHAIM will be at Temple Emanu-El for 3 weeks during the month of April. The purpose of CHAIM is to teach about tolerance and empathy through the lens of the Holocaust. The CHAIM exhibit is appropriate for Jews 5th grade and up, and non-Jews 7th and up. This is an important topic for our times.
