Mobilizing For Ministry: Empowering Communities, Transforming Lives

Greetings Ministry Partners,

The month of May 2024 was a busy one for CCI leadership in Liberia. Augustine Morris, the Ministry Operations Coordinator for Liberia, was busy with receiving, selling, and distributing books to centers in the country while I was busy creating awareness among pastors and church leaders about CCI’s vision on the phone and in person in Montserrat, Sanniquellie, and Yekepa. The reception from those hearing about CCI was warm and encouraging. We hope to follow up with a Teacher Training Workshop (TTW) later this month.

I was also invited to speak for four days at the United Liberia Inland Church Conference, which was held in Lower Johnsonville, Montserado County. The conference was attended by 300 pastors and church leaders. I presented the God's Financial Seminar and shared CCI's vision with the participants. They have invited CCI to be launched in their communities.

CCI teachers continue to teach at various centers around the country. Thank God for the changes taking place in the lives of our students. We are getting requests from teachers in Kakata, Gbarnga, and Nimba for books for their students. Augustine is handling this very well. Thanks to the CCI USA office for responding to our requests.

Thanks to Dr. David Nelson and the CCI Board for considering Liberia. The vision is spreading, and by the grace of God, all 15 counties will be impacted by CCI very soon. God is good!

We appreciate your prayers and support.

Classes

We praise the Lord that we have nine classes with 200 students. Last month, I visited classes in New Kaymah Town Community and Gbarnga, Bong County. A growing number of students are passionate about studying. Our teachers presented well during my visit and gave examples relevant to our context.

Testimonies

Rev. Dennis J. Monmia is one of our teachers who is doing well with his class. Dennis has 15 students and he tells me that the minds of his students are being renewed as they study every week. Dennis is grateful to God for CCI. He is also being transformed as he conducts his class weekly. Thank God for what He is doing in the lives of CCI students in Sacapea, Nimba County.

Please enjoy this video testimony from a pastor who attended CCI training.
