Our generous hosts with an equally generous yard have offered us a cap at 120! If we get to that, it'll be our biggest event ever! Please note that a cap means that no-show RSVPs could keep someone else from attending. Kindly unRSVP!

Cost

Through 6pm on May 2,

$10 + $1 processing fee

Fees help CMG offset our Pride booth cost, insurance, and other expenses our non-profit has.

Note: No one will be turned away for a lack of funds if you cannot pay all or even any of the fee above. Learn more about our financial policy and where CMG money goes by linking here.

Description:

Why wait for summer when our hosts are offering to super-heat their lovely pool and the company and food will be terrific? Even if it turns out to be a little cool, it's still a great get together!

California Men's Gatherings welcomes you again for the fun of socializing in and by a comfortable pool with a relaxing hot tub, and great guys.

CMG tends to bring out men age 40+, but friendly, open, attitude-free men of any age over 21 are encouraged to attend!

All California Men's Gatherings events are drug free.

Some CMG events allow alcohol and some do not.

This event welcomes beer, wine, hard seltzers, and coolers

for responsible drinking.

What to bring:

1) Potluck item and a beverage of your choice. Remember, we CAN have too many desserts, but we can never have too many entrees and sides. If you have a dessert you're eager to bring, lovely! But if you're on the fence, maybe think lunch instead.

2) A serving utensil if your dish needs one.

3) A towel, sunscreen, and a required swimsuit. Please respect that rule.

We know that neķkid parties are great fun for some; this just isn't one.

4) A significant other, friend, cuddle buddy (or all three)...after registering for each of them!

Additional Information before coming:

VOLUNTEERS: Besides the fact that we can ALWAYS use a couple of volunteers for set-up and for clean-up, we REALLY need a good crew of folks who could staff the welcome table so that no one has a really long shift. So please let us know in your RSVP if you can lend a hand! It's easy, fun, and it's a great way to contribute to the community.

FOLDING TABLES: We needs some! If you can help with that, mention it in the comments section of your RSVP.

SEATING: In order to increase seating options for SO many men, we encourage bringing a beach chair for yourself. There's a small lawn in the back-right side of the yard where chairs can be opened. Label your chair to avoid confusion.

DRINKS: A reminder that you should bring what you’d like to drink. Water bottles, thermoses, cans, etc. If you’d like to bring more for others to enjoy, terrific, but please provide for at least yourself. Remember that beer, wine, hard seltzers, and coolers are welcome but not the hard stuff. And it's great if you label your cups so you can easily find and re-use them. If you forget or run out, we'll have some bottled water and refill a pitcher if need be.

RSVP Issues:

NOT COMING AFTER ALL? If you can't make it after all, please send an unRSVP email to us. We're not issuing refunds, but unRSVPs help us in allowing those who miss the cut-off to join us and with buying the right amount of supplies.

WHAT IF I LOSE THE EMAIL WITH THIS INFO?: All our events are always posted at TheCMG.org/san-diego so bookmark that! The email you'll most need is the confirmation note after you RSVP with the address so please hold onto that. If you lose that, too, write to the registrar.

FORGOT THE ADDRESS? Search your inbox and, if necessary, your spam folder for "CMG" and you should find the confirmation note with the address. If that fails, RSVP again using the "RSVPing again for the info" option at the top and you'll get another confirmation note.

WHY DO I GETTING REMINDERS IF I ALREADY RSVP'd? Because reminders go out to all members. Sorry, but Constant Contact doesn't know you RSVP'd on the Jotform. ;)

RSVPING FOR SOMEONE NOT YET ON OUR LIST? Encourage them to come aboard! It’s frée and the page is easy to remember:  www.TheCMG.org/join !

Additional Information upon arrival:

BATHROOMS: Just as an fyi, the hosts have one restroom to use for the party. With so many men attending, the hosts encourage you to their lower garden and pee on the bushes. That area is gravelly, so wear shoes.

NO GLASS BY THE POOL:  There will be an area where any glass items can be placed, but please pour contents into non-glass cups before taking them by the pool.

HOLD HARMLESS SIGNING:  Upon arriving, everyone will be asked to sign a "hold harmless" form, protecting CMG and the host. If you've signed it before, it hasn't changed. If you haven't read it before, pre-read this short form so the line isn't slowed by people reading it then.

SMOKING:  If you need to smoke or vape, please ask the person at the check-in table where the designated area is.

PARTY QUESTIONS: Our treasurer Jim is our point of contact for this event. When you RSVP via the big blue button at the top, you can ask questions in the comments field. We try to be thorough and he gets lots of email, so please do check if the answer is already in what we sent you already before asking (Like, "What time does it start again?" ;)

For 'day-of' questions only, call his cell: 619-718-0194.
