Roadwork Related to Audi-Lamborghini Project Moves to Datura Street
The contractor for the future Audi-Lamborghini project is nearing completion of Phase 1 and will soon begin Phase 2. In Phase 1, the existing islands at the project site were removed and utilities were installed on Banyan Street. New curbs and gutters were also installed along both Banyan Street and Franjo Road. When Phase 2A begins, the eastbound lane on Banyan Street will reopen and two-way traffic will be maintained. The island on Datura Street will also be removed and the area will be patched. In Phase 2B, the westbound lane on Datura Street will be closed while underground utilities are installed.

Phase 2A is expected to begin on January 18 and last for a duration of two days. Phase 2B is scheduled to start on January 23 with an expected duration of three weeks. Work on both phases will occur consecutively and will take place between 7 am and 3 pm while the project is ongoing and will primarily be done on weekdays, although some work on Saturdays may be necessary. The work will be implemented in accordance with the Village's noise ordinance.

We will continue to provide updates on future project phases as we receive them. If you have questions, please contact our Public Services Department at 305-969-5011. Please refer to the map below for road closure information and detour routes.
