Announcements

Senior Send-Off is Wednesday

This Wednesday is our seniors last day of school. As is a Rising Tide tradition, the seniors will process around the school building to be celebrated and cheered on by our students in grades 5-11 before they exit the building just before noon to begin their picnic.

We invite families of our seniors to form a cheer tunnel outside our main entrance for students to walk through as they leave the building on the way to the field, and/or join your senior(s) at the picnic on the field.

7th & 8th Grade Social is Next Week

Rising Tide's 7th & 8th Grade Social will be held on Friday, June 7 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. The theme is "Night Under the Stars". Tickets are $5 each and will be sold all next week during lunch. Tickets need to be purchased in advance as they will not be sold at the door the night of the social.

Parent Group Update: May is Staff Appreciation Month

Last Wednesday’s luncheon spread provided by Plymouth’s Texas Roadhouse restaurant and enhanced by desserts from RT families was a huge success! The staff was surprised and thrilled with the bountiful buffet. We are so grateful to Texas Roadhouse for an amazing donation to say thank you to the teachers and staff.

This week, we delivered ice cream bars and popsicles to staff during lunch – just a little treat to end Staff Appreciation Month and acknowledge the unofficial start of the summer. Given that the seniors actually start their summer break this week, we shared the ice cream and popsicles with the upper school students today, too.

We will be back to provide treats to the middle schoolers on Thursday. If you are available to help hand out ice cream bars and popsicles to the middle school students during their lunch break – from about 12:00 - 1:00 pm – you definitely should! It is guaranteed to be a quick and ridiculously fun volunteer gig. These kids are adorable! Email us at rtcpsparentgroup@gmail.com if you think you can help out. We just need 1-2 more people.

Thanks to the families who supported our Staff Appreciation Month activities! It is so important to share our gratitude with our hard-working RT team!

Rising Tide Opens Additional Enrollment Period for the 2024-2025 School Year

Rising Tide has opened an additional enrollment period for the 2024-2025 school year. This additional enrollment period is open now through Friday, June 14, 2024. The school currently has limited seats available for grades 9, 10, 11, and 12 and is therefore accepting applications for only those grades. Interested families can apply online here or download an application here.

Enrollment applications are due by Friday, June 14, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. All applicants, including siblings of current students, must submit the one-page application by the deadline to be eligible for enrollment.

Rising Tide currently has waiting lists in grades 5-8, determined through the Primary Enrollment Lottery held on February 15, 2024; therefore the school is not able to accept applications for grades 5-8 in this additional enrollment period.

Seniors, Please Share Your Future Plans

We invite all Rising Tide seniors to share your future planning news. Please email announcements and photos to Martha Popoloski at mpopoloski@risingtide.org. Announcements might include college acceptances and intended majors or other final post-Tide plans. In the past, photos have often shown students sporting their college gear or holding up an acceptance letter. We know decisions are still rolling in and financial awards are not yet finalized, so feel free to share updates whenever you have the chance.
