Introducing the

New Academic Integrity Policy and Procedure

The new policy and procedure feature a focus on upholding academic integrity across the university while making definitions for academic misconduct clearer for students and faculty alike.

To support faculty in becoming familiar with the new policy and procedure, the CTE and Student Affairs have developed the following training opportunities.

Part 1 - Online Asynchronous

Complete the eLearn module Responding to Academic Misconduct to gain an understanding of the new policy and procedure, focusing on how to respond to instances of academic misconduct.

Part 2 - Online Synchronous

After completing the eLearn module, register for an online synchronous workshop. These workshops will focus on applying the policy and procedure to various scenarios.

Resources for Faculty:

  • The CTE website features resources for the prevention, detection, and response. It has been updated to reflect the new policy and procedure.
  • The Responding to Academic Misconduct Frontlines page has been updated to reflect the new policy and procedure.
