South Mountain has a special history of healing waters and fresh mountain air. The resorts of the past connected travelers to a sense of hope and renewal through serene views and connection with friends and family. In 2018, Matt and Kedri Metzger purchased The Stable B&B which was serving families visiting the Caron Treatment Center. After discovering the history of the mountain, they changed the name to The South Mountain Inn. The vision was to continue serving visitors to Caron, but to open up the inn to all travelers and others seeking to gather together. Everyone needs a little of the magic South Mountain offers. The inn now offers ten rooms with private baths and event space.
