Park & Make Your Mark

"Make Your Mark" Day is back - and this one is extra special because volunteers will be among the first to PARK in our new parking deck!

Join us on Saturday, February 18th from 9 am – 1 pm as we gather to spruce up our space while enjoying time together. We are looking for at least 60 people this time - yes, we want to make this this biggest one ever. There will be projects for ages 8+ and all physical abilities.

Arrive for breakfast around 8:45 and start making your mark from 9 am to 1 pm, with lunch provided. You will still have time to enjoy your weekend as well as have some fun with your Saint Mark family.

Midtown Alliance Annual Meeting Volunteers

Wednesday, February 8th

Midtown Alliance is seeking volunteers for our 2023 Annual Meeting, which will take place on the morning of Wednesday, February 8th at the Fox Theatre. This annual signature event attracts Atlanta’s business, civic, and residential leaders. It includes a networking breakfast at 7AM and an engaging program at 8AM.

In addition to covering essential city and district updates, the event will look closely at the importance of thriving public spaces for Midtown’s next era of growth … and the steps Midtown Alliance and partners can take to create more people energy at street-level.

Volunteers should be enthusiastic about the exciting developments in Midtown and be able to be at the Fox from 6:00 AM to 8:30 AM on the morning of the event.

Volunteers will be involved with:

  • Electronic guest check-in and name badge distribution
  • Ushering guests upstairs to the food, and downstairs to the program
  • Passing out event programs at the start of the event
  • Guiding guests to seating

For more information or to volunteer, please contact Robert Gilleo at RJGilleo@gmail.com.

Frances Winship Walters Chapel & Parlor

During the month of January, the Frances Winship Walters Chapel will be closed for interior repairs. The Sunday 9 AM service will meet in the Sanctuary. The parlor is also closed for the month of January.

As Lent approaches, many of us are reminded once again to examine our lifestyles and ask, "What can we do for others?"

Part of faith formation at any age is compassion and offering a serving heart to our neighbors. More on how you can help, coming in February.
