New Report Evaluates the Cost-Effectiveness of Corporate Water Stewardship Project

Water risks are intensifying, and the need for effective corporate water stewardship has never been greater. The Pacific Institute’s new white paper, Evaluating the Cost-Effectiveness of Corporate Water Stewardship Projects, introduces the Levelized Cost of Water (LCOW).


Authored by AMP Insight’s Dr. Sarah Kruse and David Pilz, and Pacific Institute’s Dr. Sonali Abraham and Heather Cooley, LCOW is a standardized metric that can simplify decision-making.

Water Resilience Coalition Advances Corporate Water Action at World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 

The Water Resilience Coalition CEO Circle Meeting recently convened during the World Economic Forum in Davos. The meeting gathered leaders from around the globe to discuss one of the world’s most pressing issues: water.  


The Water Resilience Coalition is an industry-driven, CEO-led initiative to tackle the global water crisis. As part of the CEO Water Mandate, a partnership between the UN Global Compact and Pacific Institute, we are uniting businesses to drive real impact where it matters most.

Last month, the Pacific Institute, along with the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) hosted a webinar featuring a new resource for corporations focused on water stewardship and resilience.

 

During the webinar, participants explored the connection between the CEO Water Mandate Net Positive Water Impact (NPWI) ambition to build long-term resilience in water-stressed basins, and Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) Standard V2.0.
