Getting More Jesus in the New Year
Ideas from Mother Brenda
Dear ones, I have a couple of ideas of how to kick-off the new year with some great spiritual habits. 1) Consider subscribing to the "Brother Give us a Word" mini-meditation (Society of Saint John the Evangelist is an Episcopal monastic order in Boston). 2) Purchase this book of daily meditations. It's a collection of short excerpts from the writings of theologian Henri Nouewen. 3) Download the "d365 Daily Devotionals" app on your phone. It's the kind of format you can do by yourself, with your family, or with a group.

Vestry Candidate Bios Available
Election 1/22/23 @ 11:15am
Once again, due to the dedication of our Vestry Nominating Committee (Jenna Dustan-Chair, Sharon Doar-Toth, Jim McClennan, Betsy Vaughn & Neville Willsmore), we have a stellar slate of Vestry Candidates! Click here to read their bios, and plan to join us for the Annual Meeting on Jan. 22, when we’ll elect them.
Winter Shelter Dates
Feb. 5-19, 2023
Due to the expansion of our Food Pantry operations, we will collaborate with Bethlehem Lutheran to house several families as part of the Interfaith Rotational Shelter program. Guests will sleep and eat at Bethlehem, and St. Andrew’s will help provide meals as well as serve as greeters and overnight hosts. We’ll post a Sign-up Genius in January, but if you have questions, or want to be a coordinator, please contact Dan Vaughn.
