Homecoming Sunday
All are welcome to join us for Homecoming Sunday on September 15th, immediately following 10am mass in the upper parish hall. This will be a great opportunity to learn about and sign up to participate in one or more of our ministries and meet our ministry leaders. Come, join the festivities while we kick off our 2024/2025 program year at Christ Church. Ministries currently offered: Acolytes, Alter Guild, Archives, Brotherhood, Chalice, Choir, ECW, Kitchen/Coffee, Nursery, Readers, Sunday School, Ushers, Garden, & Youth group! Acolyte Festival at the Washington National Cathedral
The Washington National Cathedral has invited acolytes throughout our country to participate in the annual Acolyte Festive in Washington, DC on October 12, 2024. Christ Church has participated in the past but our present acolytes have not participated in the event.
Acolytes, servers, vergers, and clergy are invited to participate in the amazing procession and the mass. Following the mass there are opportunities for workshops and tours of the cathedral and cathedral gardens. Parents are welcomed to attend. Our group will leave Christ Church at 6:30AM and return by 6PM. We will need volunteer drivers.
