MESSAGE FROM FR. JEFF

Hello everybody!

As we do a number of times each year, we will have the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick at all the masses this weekend. If you are facing any significant or chronic health or mental health issues, please know you are invited and encouraged to come forward to receive God’s grace in this sacrament for the healing of body and soul. You need not face your trials alone. God is with you as are the prayers of our faith community.

Our Tuesday morning Bible study is in need of someone to help with child care in the nursery. The study is from 10:00 a.m. to noon beginning on September 10 through November 5. If you are interested and able to help, please contact Karen Savko at 502-767-8885. Thanks!

I hope you have a wonderful Labor Day weekend! Because of the holiday, our Parish Office and School will be closed. Daily mass on Monday will be at 10:00 a.m. for our holiday schedule. On this Labor Day, I am grateful for the dignity of work and the many gifts that are shared with our community and beyond! May God bless you in your labor, the creative work of your hands, and may all that you do be for the greater glory of God!

Peace,

Fr. Jeff

Walking with Moms First Baby Shower

We showered mother Jillian and her newborn baby, Alegacy, at the beginning of August. This ministry at St. Patrick helps vulnerable women during their pregnancy journey with love, support and financial contribution made possible by the generosity from St. Patrick parishioners. We receive pregnant moms who need assistance through Little Way Pregnancy Center, who is one of our outreach partners. If you are interested in serving in this ministry, contact Dana Hughes at dana.hughes00@yahoo.com or Diana Dages at dianadages@gmail.com.
